Once upon a time I did a Degree in Graphic Design & Illustration at Brighton College of Art and Design. These days I make a very happy living as a freelance copywriter. I create stuff just for the sheer joy of it. Our home is my canvas.
I'm constantly aware of the visual relationships between things. The shapes and patterns created by furniture, lighting, landscapes, weather, objects, people... you name it. The composition a bunch of punters make as they stand around a bar. The colours of clothing, juxtaposed. Buildings against the sky. The colour balance in people's homes. Wherever I am, whatever I'm doing, I automatically track and critique the way things look in relation to one another. As long as I'm awake, I'm aware of the aesthetics of absolutely everything. It's relentless. So it's just as well I love it.
This site is the result of a lifetime's passion for creating and designing... from paintings to sculptures, mosaics and recycled clothing to curiosity cabinets full of weird and wonderful objects.
If it stays still, decorate it. If you find it beautiful, cherish it. If it makes your spirit soar, do it!
