Daniel asks…
When do you think Mexican soldiers will be able to figure out where the U.S. border is?
Our beloved State Department explained this away as a momentary misunderstanding as to exactly where the border was. That makes sense, since the border's only been there for 150 years or so. How much longer do you think it will take the Mexican military to figure out the border so they don't make these honest mistakes again?
P.S. - Any suggestions that these dedicated, hardworking Mexican soldiers were doing something like working for a drug runner will be reported immediately for being politically incorrect.

Lisa asks…
Why is it "shameful" for the U.S. to build a fence on the Mexican border?
I read an article today online that quoted the Mexican government saying the fence is offensive, shameful, and ill concieved. Our country has the right to protect its borders. How is that shameful?

Artie answers:
I think it's funny they're going to build one at all. We can't even agree to build a levy in New Orleans and we're gonna build a 1000 mile border fence. LOL right.

Thomas asks…
Is there really lead in Mexican candy?? ?
A few years back there were a bunch of articles in the newspaper about how Mexican candy is full of lead and poisonous.
Do you know of anybody you know of that has had problems with eating Mexican candy?
If so what specifically should I stay away from??

Artie answers:
Answer your own question, madam, with another: Have you seen any Mexican children running around lately?

Nancy asks…
What a bunch of hypocrites Mexican authorities are. It is OK for them to deport illegals but not the US????
Mexico deports thousands of Central American migrants
” Thousands? That can’t be. President Bush told that it is impossible to deport that many people.”What a bunch of hypocrites Mexican authorities are. It is OK for them to deport illegals but not the US???? Just what is wrong with that picture?Oh, I am LOVING it. Mexico is dealing with thousands of poor, unwanted MIGRANTS who are streaming in. Let’s see THEIR compassion. I wonder if they will give them Food Stamps, free housing, open arms, free education, free medical care. Maybe they will give them part of Chaipas? I bet maybe it was once THEIRS. Let’s see if the Mexican Prez shows President Bush how to really do it right.
MEXICO CITY: The closure of an American-run railroad in Mexico stranded thousands of U.S.-bound Central American migrants near the Guatemala border and many of them were deported Wednesday by immigration authorities.
Some camped along rail lines waiting for trains that will never come. Others tried to walk hundreds of kilometers (miles) to the next working rail line and some turned themselves in to Mexican authorities.
The government sent hundreds of federal police and soldiers Tuesday to clear out the migrants, who for decades have hopped freight cars on the Chiapas-Mayab railway. The company has run freight trains on two sets of tracks in southern Mexico — one that passes near Guatemala's northern jungle, and another that goes from the Guatemalan border up the western coast. In late July, the Connecticut-based Genesee & Wyoming Inc. withdrew from a 30-year concession to operate the Chiapas-Mayab line.
Company spokeswoman Jeanette Rosado said damage to railway tracks caused by a 2005 hurricane forced the pullout. She also said rail workers had been assaulted, and that train-hopping migrants delayed operations and cost the company money.

Artie answers:
Not only hypocritical, the Mexican government encourages their unskilled ppl to come here and provide a pamphlet in comic book form and gives advice to them.
Yes they have very strict immigrations laws and yes they are a buffer.
I do not agree that it should cost millions to deport them, if corporations would not hire them and if landlords would not rent to them without valid papers then they would go back on their own accord and at their own expense. IMO
