David asks…
Mixed Mexican ancestry? So Mexico is a combination of 3 ancestries?
I was learning at school that Mexico have a very early prehistoric life
Saying that WAYYYYYYYYYYYY before Clumbus arrived
White,African, and Asians arrived in Mexico .....
White= Chitzen Itza the "white man" who looks from Mesopotamia and Vicking style and Quezacoatl was also considered or described as a "white man with a beard"
African=The Olmec people look alike from the features(face) of Egyptian and Nubian people
Asian= The West side of Mexico like the state of Chiapas people have the features of the Chinese and Mongolian ancestry also in the Ancient Chinese art, don't you notice the dragons ?well compare them to the ones in the pyramids in Mexico.... they look very alike and the colors too.
Does it means that Mexico 's people like us have the chance to be Mesopotamian,African, and Asian even if its one percent or what? or does it depends on each region?

Artie answers:
Assuming you are right about the pre-Columbus migration of people from Asia into America, the answer to your question should be yes. And it should be yes not only throughout Mexico, but all the way into South America down to the tip.

Lisa asks…
Any other White Americans here love Mexican culture as much as I do?
I am a Spanish major and I am learning a lot about Mexico. It's amazing. Literature: Sor Juana, Lizardi, Amado Nervo, Guttiérez-Nájera and the other Modernist poets, the literary Vanguard of Villaurrutia, Maples Arce, List Azurbide, Jorge Cuesta, Salvador Novo, Carlos Fuentes, Octavio Paz, Juan Rulfo, Elena Poniatowska, Mariano Azuela, Rosario Castellanos, the "Crack" Generation, Magical Realism......
Art: Orozco, O'Gorman, Rivera, Siquieros, Kahlo....
Music, film, architecture. I spent eight days in Mexico City and it was amazing, The Templo Mayor, Tlatelolco, The Anthropology Museum, Teotihuacan, Frida Kahlo's House, the Trotsky House, Palacio de Bellas Artes, Palacio Nacional, the Gran Catedral, art museum.....impressive.
Anyone else here love that nation's culture and civilization?
So, should I disregard all of America's writers and artists and summarize its culture as full of stupid television and offensive music? No. How ignorant and narrow minded.
I already mentioned that America has many fine writers, so how does that indicate that I am less of an American if I compliment the artistic achievements of another society? Do you hate your kids if you say something positive about your neighbor's child? No. Such ignorance. Part of the reason why I asked this question was to gauge how many ignorant rednecks make this board their home, and I see that there are quite a few. Do you like it when foreigners judge all Americans based on stupid, fat, gullible tourists and neglect the literary achievements of America? If you're so superior, why don't you paint something better than what Kahlo did or write something that would put Octavio Paz to shame.
Also, I am not addressing their politics, I am talking about their painters, writers and musicians, something you know nothing about it would appear but consider yourself worthy to judge. I don't make derogatory comments about Laotian culture as I know nothing about it, so why don't you do the same until you learn something?
So, by that logic is there no "American" culture as we are simply an extension of Britain?
Octavio Paz, Nobel Laureate would be a good start.
As for not having time, well, it depends on how you budget time: I mean, I like reading rather than watching television, so my time goes towards that.
As for usefulness. I like translating and knowing the cultural background of a nation helps as a translator. The world needs translators as vital information in business, medicine and technology can be exchanged more easily from country to country.
The World's richest man is from Mexico (Carlos Slim) and Mexico has one of the highest GDPs in the world. Look it up in your almanac, it's over 1 trillion dollars, which is a feat only accomplished by a handful of nations on this Earth (Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil, France, Spain, Italy, German, UK, Russia, India, China, Japan and South Korea), plus there is oil wealth to be found there as well.

Artie answers:
Really try studying their politics. Why do you think they come here and want to be Americans.
It sounds like you should live there. We will not miss you.
I em not fond of them I live in Arizona were they leave their filth and kill the ranchers and their animals.
Try using a rest area they have been at. I always have to keep going I cannot wade through the used toilet paper on the floor.
America has many fine writers and history. You do not like it?

Mexico does produce many things, but virtually none of what they produce is indigenous, everything is designed by companies outside of Mexico, but produced in Mexican factories.
