Your Questions About Japanese Artwork

Lisa asks…
Ever get bored out of your skull by an anime, but it looks so interesting, and the artwork is so fine....?
...and the story has these interesting elements, but all they throw at you is really boring Japanese history? AUGH!!!
Hakuouki
please tell me the story gets better. 'Cause I'm ready to toss it.

Artie answers:
Being an empath I go for the emotional feeling I get from an anime or from a song. I NEVER read any stories with anime and I never read the words in a song. I'm only in it for the visuals or the sensory stuff. I listen to music to unwind, not figure out the meaning behind it. I look at anime b/c I love the artwork or the flow, not the story behind it.

Susan asks…
How do I write 'Inspector Gadget' in Japanese as a manga title?
I'm wanting to do my own version of 'Inspector Gadget' in a manga version because everyone on deviantART is expecting a darker version of 'Inspector Gadget' if you go on there you can find some really good dark artwork on that series. Anyways, I was just wondering how would you say it and write it in Japanese Kanji or Romanji. I'm learning Japanese but it's going very slowly.

Artie answers:
I think its... ???????

Carol asks…
Whats the name of this short animation on kids TV?
Years ago (late 90's early 00's) on one of the many Sky kids TV channels there was a short that came on between episodes. It was about a boy and his family and how much he misbehaved, the style of the artwork was sketchy and reminded me of japanese four panel comics.
It had a little boy, his mother, father school teacher and (in later episodes) his baby brother. It has been bugging me for a while so if anybody knew what it was called it may help me!
Thanks!

What is a less popular website that's LIKE Deviantart?
I'm looking for a website with a good community. A website that you can upload artwork for people to criticize, but nothing else; None of those friendly comments or chats, just art discussion and nothing else. A website where you can make a gallery of your own artwork.
And most important of all, somewhere I can upload artwork directly from my computer, and not photobucket by URL or anything like that.
And it must be free!
I'm mainly a manga.. Japanese artwork style artist if that helps in what type of site it is.

Artie answers:
You can upload your images and look for a group that displays your subject matter.
You will have to ask people that are doing similar work for critique. Honestly, I think you will have a hard time getting really good serious critiques on line. It seems the minute someone says something too negative, other forum members will complain they are being to harsh.

Donna asks…
