What are some greaser (like in The Outsiders - S.E. Hinton) names?
OK, I LOVE the book "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton...I also LOVE the movie!! Ponyboy is really hot!! But anyway, what are some cool greaser names like Ponyboy. I was thinking Rebel or Danger, but I need some more. Help??
P.S. I am a Ponyboy Lover!

Well, you could give your characters real/common names and have them have unique nicknames (in the Outsider's they call him Darry but his name is Darrel).

How can I come up with original names for my books?
Like say, Sodapop,Two-Bit, Ponyboy from The Outsiders and Katniss, Peeta from The Hunger Games Trilogy. I've got a good story going and I can't think of any names that are as great as these. Just some really cool, original names would be good. Thanks in advance for the answers.

ok i just realized u asked how, not actual examples so you could, look at the window and combine the words of stuff you see.
Make it up on the spot by just sounding out ...sounds until you like the sound and call it a "name"
