Betty asks…

Advertising AFRICAN ART?

I HAVE SOME ART MY BROTHER IN AFRICA HAS PAINTED ON CANVAS. I WANT TO SELL IT AND MAKE A NAME FOR HIM ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Artie answers:

Is he amember of Deviantart.com?
You can sell your stuff!
But like any company it's all about promotion and advertising!
Postivie stuff not spamming and trickery!
Take his stuff to gallarys around your state!
And see if any of his works get accept!
If not come out to detroit!
I'm sure you can find some gallary that will support you!
Adversize on radio. Tv
see if gallarys will go in on you
host your own gallary in a hall or home
get a vendor licesns and hit up art fairs and get booths at radio station events or town fairs you have to spend money to get your name out there that's the sucky part!
I have no money so i just do word of mouth right now
good luck!
