She cannot "rip"something down everything in the house (besides what is her personal property) belongs to the citizens of the US. I am not a huge fan of Obamas but don't you think she has far more class and decorum than what you are crediting her for.

I think she has more class than that…all the white presidents are still a part of American history if they were bad or not. I do think she should add more pictures though…like MLK for example. And I don’t see anything wrong with that.

Nope. Can’t destroy a National Landmark. Although she *can* “contribute”. And don’t be surprised to see changes in *that* area; i.e., images of Martin Luther King, Jr., Frederick Douglas, Malcolm X, etc., could very well be displayed on White House walls in more public/prominent locations.

lol. did u know that the clintons messed up the white house big, but of course no one yelled at them. it doesnt matter what obama does to the white house, they arent gonna get yelled at by the press because the press is all on his side.
As the uncle of three Nigerian-Americans who on their mother’s side are descended from Roger Williams and William Ellery and one of whom IS a Muslim, I find this question VERY offensive and racist.
I certainly don’t think you have LISTENED to Lewis Farrakhan or Rev. Jeremiah Wright, both of whom are gentlemen from a time when race relations were different and somewhat more dangerous, and who both articulate the anger of that time BRILLIANTLY (though to different purposes. I still have sympathy for my African-American friends who listen to Farrakhan, though I’ve known since I was a teenager that while he continues to deny this, the men who shot Malcolm Shabazz (Malcolm X) to death reported to him. I’ve always respected Rev. Wright’s theology which is far more complex than the media has reported).
To attribute this sort of behavior to Michelle Obama, and WORSE, to call it “AFRICAN ART” is to attribute to her an insensitivity you are STRONGLY advised to look for in yourself.
Heaven help this country if someone like YOU becomes First Lady.
